Harvested Area and Production of Paddy in DKI Jakarta Province 2023

The Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with the Area Sample Framework Method (ASF) is the result of collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), which is now merged into the Research and Innovation Agency National (BRIN), as well as the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN) and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity is included in the national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in order to improve food statistics, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main objective of this activity is to produce objective and scientific data on rice harvested area also to involves the role of the latest technology, so that the data on collected rice production becomes more accurate, fast, and timely.The Report on Harvest Area and Rice Production in DKI Jakarta Province 2023 presents the results of implementation of ASF data collection during 2023. In addition, this report also provides information on the potential for rice cultivation obtained from field observations. Hopefully this report will be useful for all data users.
