Executive Summary of Paddy Harvested Area and Production in DKI Jakarta Province 2024

Food crop statistical data have a strategic role in the information of agriculture sector. The report on paddy harvested area from the Area Sampling Frame (KSA) survey conducted by BPS-Statistics of DKI Jakarta Province, is one of the references for government in formulating the direction of development policies in the agricultural sector, particularly related to food security. The KSA survey method, which is a collaborative activity between BPS, the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) which is now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). Meanwhile, paddy production data is obtained through the Crop-cutting Survey. The Executive Summary of Paddy Harvested Area and Production in DKI Jakarta Province 2024 (Final Figures) presents concise information on the harvested area, paddy production, and rice during 2023 and 2024. Additionally, it is equipped with potential figures for the period January-April 2025. Spatially, it presents data on paddy harvested area and production by regency/municipality under monitoring during the period.
