Jakarta’s Paddy Production Decreased in 2022 (Fixed Number)

Abstract

In 2022 the paddy harvested area in DKI Jakarta decreased by 82.72 hectares to 477.25 hectares, a decrease of 14.77 percent compared to conditions in 2021. This reduction impacts the decline in paddy production of around 911.70 tons to 2,337.77 tons, reduced by 28.06 percent in 2022. Even though rainfall is relatively low, weather and pest disturbances are still affecting the decrease in paddy productivity over the past year.
