Release Date : March 1, 2023
File Size : 2.26 MB

Abstract

At the beginning of 2023, the hotel occupancy rate for star hotels in Jakarta fell to 48.40 percent. Unlike the previous month’s high season conditions, the Jakarta hotel industry is entering a low season. At this time, Meeting Incentive Conference and Exhibition (MICE) activities that supported the hospitality business were not widely carried out.
In contrast, the length of stay for Jakarta star hotel guests in January 2023 rose by 0.18 days compared to the previous month. However, guest’s average length of stay was getting shorter by 0.16 days compared to the same month last year, which was 2.08 days.
Domestic guests were the primary key to support the recovery of the hospitality industry. Considering that the composition of Jakarta star hotel guests consists of 93.12 percent of Indonesian guests and 6.88 percent of foreign guests.
