Trial of the 2023 Agricultural Census in the Thousand Islands

In order to prepare for the implementation of the long series of 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) implementation starting in 2021 to 2024, BPS made several preparations including Trial I, Trial II, Dirty Rehearsal, and Clean Rehearsal. The first stage is Trial I which will be held on April 6-9, 2021. The trial area is divided into potential areas and archipelagic areas. Potential areas (West Java) in Indramayu Regency, Subang Regency, and Garut Regency. The archipelagic region (DKI Jakarta) is in the Thousand Islands Regency. The objectives of Trial I include: (1) Designing and testing instruments to be used in ST2023; (2) Reviewing the methodology to be used in ST2023; (3) Designing the processing system to be used in ST2023; (4) Reviewing the instruments and methodologies to be used in ST2023 for difficult areas; and (5) Reviewing the instruments and methodologies that will be used in ST2023 for urban farming in urban areas.
