Regional Income of DKI Jakarta 1966-1971

The Regional Income estimation for Jakarta, which has been initiated since 1966 is intended to measure the economic growth of the Region. The figures indicate the yearly development of the citizen of Jakarta. For the Capital City Administration, the information is also to be used as an indicator for the impact of local government investment to the growth of each and every economic sectors operating in the Region.Due to the limited availability of Statistical data, the estimate is still subject to revision and improvement. A t this stage of approaches is still being employed with regard to the calculation of estimates for the contribution of some economic sectors into the Gross Regional Income; besides, limitation with regard to the choices of parameters, value of mark-up and inter regional economic in and outflow are factors wich urge the need for continous revision.
