Regional Instructor Training Long Form Population Census 2022

Friday, March 25, 2022, BPS DKI Jakarta Province conducted the Regional Instructor Training (Inda) Long Form Population Census 2022 (LF SP2020) for the CAPI Region. Conducted online, the training is held for 3 days (25 - 27 March 2022) for independent learning and 5 days (28 March - 1 April 2022) for Distance Learning. The training was attended by representatives of BPS Province and BPS Regency/City throughout DKI Jakarta.

The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is entering a new phase. After going through the Online Population Census (SP Online) and September Population Census (SP September), BPS will then carry out the Advanced SP2020 (Long Form SP2020). This activity which was delayed and halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 is finally ready to be carried out in May-June 2022. This Advanced SP2020 activity is important to be carried out to provide data related to demographic parameters such as births, deaths, and migration as well as information Other important things in order to produce indicators for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the RPJMN for the population sector will be obtained through the sample census data collection in 2021. This SP2020 sample census activity is hereinafter referred to as the SP2020 long form data collection activity.

Inda LF SP2020 training aims to produce reliable and trained Inda to teach field officers who will carry out field data collection. The training was carried out smoothly and produced Inda who had a good understanding of the training material. The successful implementation of Advanced SP2020 is a shared responsibility to provide demographic parameters and other population characteristics for development planning and evaluation.
