Release of DKI Jakarta Economic Growth Quarter 2 2021

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jakarta's economy has grown substantially. The moment of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and the increase in people's income as a result of the provision of THR and the 13th salary pushed aggregate demand to move up. In addition, a limited easing of business activity stimulated economic recovery. On the other hand, the condition of the economy in the second quarter of 2020, which contracted quite deeply, provided a large base effect in calculating economic growth. As a result, this situation has made Jakarta's economy grow to double digits.
