Consumer Price Index and Inflation of DKI Jakarta Province 2024

The 2024 Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Inflation Publication of DKI Jakarta Province presents information on price fluctuations at the consumer level as reflected in the development of the CPI and inflation. This information is one of the important indicators for knowing economic developments. In addition, in aggregate, the CPI and inflation play an important role in formulating macroeconomic control policies. This publication is presented periodically every year by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of DKI Jakarta Province. In general, the data presented in this publication includes the price index of goods and services consumed by the public according to expenditure groups, developments in the inflation/deflation rate, inflation rate, calculation methods, and descriptive analysis. This aims to assist the DKI Jakarta Government and competent related parties in preparing planning, implementation, and evaluation of work programs in the economic sector each budget year. Especially for business actors, this publication can be used as an important reference regarding changes in the real value of wages received by workers.
