Population Consumption Patterns of DKI Jakarta Province, 2023

One of the main focuses in national development is to achieve food sovereignty. Therefore, statistical data and information are needed as a basis for making policies related to food consumption. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is carried out by BPS-Statistics to collect data on various aspects of fulfilling life needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, and health periodically. The data is a source for calculating various social indicators, such as poverty, income inequality, and food security.The publication Population Consumption Patterns of DKI Jakarta Province, 2023 is a manifestation of BPS-Statistic's responsibility as an institution tasked with providing basic statistical data as input for development planning. The data covered in this publication includes household expenditure on food and non-food, consumption levels and patterns, and income inequality between population groups in DKI Jakarta based on the results of the March 2023 Susenas.
