Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) of classified hotels in Jakarta in January 2024 was 51.73 percent, which increased by 3.33 percentage points compared to January 2023 (y-on-y) and fell by 9.78 percentage points compared to December 2023 (m-to-m).
The room occupancy rate of a two-star hotel at 57.50 percent was the highest among all-classified hotels.
The room occupancy rate (ROR) of non-classified hotels in Jakarta in January 2024 was 41.74 percent, which rose by 0.61 percentage points compared to January 2023 (y-on-y) and increased by 6.35 percentage points compared to December 2023 (m-to-m).
The average length of stay at classified hotels in Jakarta in January 2024 was 1.77 days, a decrease of 0.15 days compared to January 2023 and a rise of 0.11 days compared to December 2023 (m-to-m).
The average length of stay at non-classified hotels in Jakarta in January 2024 was 1.36 days, an increase of 0.05 days compared to January 2023 and a rise of 0.04 days compared to December 2023 (m-to-m).
The proportion of foreign guests to total guests staying at classified hotels in Jakarta in January 2024 reached 9.94 percent.
