Abstract

The number of international tourist arrivals to Jakarta throughout December 2023 reached 174,111 visits.
The number of International tourist arrivals to Jakarta in December 2023 decreased by 9.06 percent compared to November 2023 (m-to-m), but increased by 38.47 percent compared to December 2022 (y-on-y).
The percentage of international tourist arrivals via Soekarno Hatta International Airport in December 2023 was 99.02 percent, while International tourist arrivals via Halim Perdana Airport were 0.03 percent. The number of tourist visits through Tanjung Priok Port was reached 0.95 percent.
The occupancy rate of Jakarta star hotel rooms in December 2023 was 61.51 percent, which slightly rose by 0.14 percentage points compared to the previous month (m-to-m). The occupancy rate of a two-star hotel at 65,70 percent was the highest among all-star hotels.
The average length of stay of Jakarta Star Hotel guests in December 2023 was 1.66 days, slightly decreased by 0,02 days compared to the previous month.
The proportion of foreign guests to total guests staying at star hotels in Jakarta in December 2023 reached 8.35 percent.
