Abstract

The number of international tourist arrivals to Jakarta throughout September 2023 reached 190,192 visits.

The number of International tourist arrivals to Jakarta in September 2023 decreased by 13.03 percent compared to August 2023 (m-to-m), but increased by 71,13 percent compared to September 2022 (y-on-y).

The percentage of international tourist arrivals via Soekarno Hatta International Airport in September 2023 was 99.93 percent, while International tourist arrivals via Halim Perdana Airport were 0.07 percent. There were no international tourist arrivals via Tanjung Priok Port throughout September 2023.

The occupancy rate of Jakarta star hotel rooms in September 2023 was 57.33 percent, which slightly increased by 1.47 percentage points compared to the previous month (m-to-m). The occupancy rate of a two-star hotel at 61.66 percent was the highest among all-star hotels.

The average length of stay of Jakarta star hotel guests in September 2023 was 1.67 days or decreased by 0.08 days compared to August 2023.

The proportion of foreign guests to total guests staying at star hotels in Jakarta in September 2023 reached 10.10 percent.
