Release Date : July 15, 2021
File Size : 1.08 MB

Abstract

The decline in people’s purchasing power and  low  productivity  in  several  industries  in the  second  year  of  the  COVID-19  pandemic, has  implications  on  the  declining  purchasing power of the poor and near-poor, which in turn increased  the  accumulation  of  the  number of  poor  population  in  Jakarta.  On  the  other hand,  social  assistance  makes  a  significant contribution  in  reducing  the  poverty  growth in  the  capital.  This  was  indicated  by  the  slow growth  of  population  living  in  poverty  from 0.16  percentage  points  in  September  2020 to  0.03  percentage  points  in  the  March  2021 period.
