Jakarta Economic Growth Quarter I 2016

Jakarta's economy in the first quarter of 2016 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached 518.96 trillion rupiah, while at constant prices it reached 371.81 trillion rupiah.

Jakarta's economy in the first quarter of 2016 grew 5.62 percent compared to the first quarter of 2015 (y on y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the financial services and insurance business sector at 11.15 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the household consumption component of 5.26 percent.
