DKI Jakarta Tourism March 2016

The number of foreign tourist visits to Jakarta through 3 entrances (Soekarno–Hatta, Tanjung Priok, and Halim Perdana Kusumah) in March 2016 reached 208,788 visits, an increase of 21.72 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in February 2016 which amounted to 171,533. visit. Similarly, when compared to foreign tourist visits in the same month the previous year, the number of foreign tourists visiting in March 2016 was 0.29 percent higher. The ten nationalities that made the most visitors to Jakarta in March 2016 were: China (28,613 visits); Malaysia (27,420 visits); Singapore (17,918 visits); Japan (17,211 visits); Saudi Arabia (17,110 visits); South Korea (7,872); America (7,397 visits); India (6,717 visits); Australia (5,711 visits); and Taiwan (5,492 visits).

    The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in March 2016 reached 59.09 percent, an increase in the ROR by 2.94 points from the ROR in February 2016 which reached 56.15 percent. Similarly, when compared to the ROR in March 2015 which reached 56.82 percent, the ROR in March 2016 was 2.27 points higher.
