We often hear the sound of this popular children's toy in our surroundings. Especially if in our environment there are many children. But if you pay attention, the pictures of the lattos above really look like tomatoes, don't they?
Tomato is one of the favorite commodities in Indonesia. Tomatoes are seasonal vegetables that contribute greatly to horticultural production and inflation rates in several regions, you know!
BPS noted that tomato production in 2021 reached 1.11 million tons, an increase of 2.71 percent (29.41 thousand tons) from 2020. Consumption of tomatoes by the household sector in 2021 reached 677.97 thousand tons, an increase of 6. 93 percent (43.96 thousand tons) from 2020. Check out the infographic on #KamiST this time.
Oh yes, tomatoes and various other horticultural commodities will also be recorded in the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023).
