Refreshing Consumer Price Survey 2021

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the strategic data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which is needed as a basis for determining government policies. The percentage change in the CPI or better known as the inflation/deflation rate is an important economic indicator whose data quality needs to be improved from time to time. Given the importance of the CPI, it is necessary for officers who are able to properly record data according to the SOP. Therefore, refreshing is needed to ensure officers always carry out data collection according to SOPs. Refreshing is not only useful for reminding the concepts and definitions used, it is also useful for new officers if there is a rotation of officers. Changing officers requires the transfer of knowledge from old officers to new officers, but this does not necessarily happen well because not all officers are able to transfer their knowledge properly. This refresh is done through the Zoom room.
